My first day of kindergarten and we were expected to be communicate in English. This made it very hard on me and was very confused because of the language barrier
-
When arriving in the first grade I was expected to be able to read simple words, but because I was still adapting and knew very little english this task was difficult and my confusion only grew
-
At this point my English had increased exponentially and I could understand/speak. And could read and write at a decent level for my age and grade
-
At this point in time my English was very good and I had just moved to America, but things weren't as easy as I thought they would be because of accents. Even though I could speak and write English perfectly because of the my accents and other peoples understanding them became difficult.

This was the summer after my first year of school in the United States, and I had just been introduced to the diary of a wimpy kid. I was reluctant to read it but immediately when I started reading it sparked my interest, and because of this I finished the book very quickly went back to my cousin to ask for the other Diary of the wimpy kid books he had.
-
After a while in school I was recognized by my teacher because of how advanced my English and education was, because I was from a foreign she didn't expect my English to be good.
-
As of right now my English has developed and I am taking a college level English class.
