The first iPhone is introduced. These have also grown rapidly and 21.67% of the world's smartphone users use Apple iPhones. I was too young at the time to own a phone myself but both of my parents switched to iPhones shortly after their release. Neither of my parents have used any other phone since. -
I never used a touchscreen laptop until my senior year of high school, 2018. This is important to include because without these beginnings I would not have the computer I'm using today and love. -
I did not own an iPad until my college years, however, I remember my mom's first iPad and how chunky it seems now in comparison to today. -
These are some of the most significant technology pieces for me because they are all ones I still use today. However, I of course use the updated versions of all of these which really shows how vastly and rapidly technology has evolved and is currently evolving.
