The first iPhone is introduced. These have also grown rapidly and 21.67% of the world's smartphone users use Apple iPhones. I was too young at the time to own a phone myself but both of my parents switched to iPhones shortly after their release. Neither of my parents have used any other phone since.

These are some of the most significant technology pieces for me because they are all ones I still use today. However, I of course use the updated versions of all of these which really shows how vastly and rapidly technology has evolved and is currently evolving.
