I grew up on Disney movies. I first started watching VHS movies at a young age. That was the first type of technology I was introduced to. Kids these days won't know the patience it took to wait for the videos to rewind.

My mom recieved an old record player from my grandma for her birthday. Since we were an all girl family, we loved to dance and sing along with that record player. (Of course they were disney songs!)

For christmas one year, my sister and I asked for a Nintendo 64. We thought it was the best invention ever! We didn't know at that time that the game industry would soon boom. That game consol was the best invention ever!

The idea of not having to rewind after a movie was the most genious idea ever. I loved not having to watch previews and the extra scenes they added. The DVD was a great invention for a Disney lover like me.

The first time I saw a whiteboard in my class was so cool! The idea of not getting the dirty chalk all over my pretty dresses was great to a little girl. Now with all the smart boards and projectors and things the whiteboard seems like nothing. To me though, it changed my classroom.

Before phones became popular, we used instant messaging to keep up with our friends and their lives. My mom had to log me in because I wasn't allowed to have access myself. I would spend hours talking to my friends about nothing just to say I was using instant messaging.

The first time they introduced a new way to have music in the palm of your hand, I was blown away. No more having to carry a boombox or a bag just for your walkman? I was sold! Itunes changed my life.

Cell phones were finaly starting to become popular. I had to wait until I was 17 to get a cell phone, so by the time I got one they were't cool anymore. When I finally got a phone, I thought it was the best thing in the world...until the Iphone came out.

I worked in a movie theater for three years in high school. My last year we had a huge breakthrough when we finally introduced the digital computer reels to play our movies. We no longer were needed to set up the movies and start and stop them. Everything was now digital!

After my senior year of high school I finally joined the apple world. I bought myself an iphone for graduation. Little did I know how impacting the apple world would be in the technology area. It opened all new doors for our generation
