I began playing piano in kindergarten, then progressed onto the flute in 4th grade and saxophone in high school

I faintly remember his name being called and my mom and I leaving because it was late at night (we are 13 years apart and technically half siblings)

This was hard for me, but he ended up moving back within the year

He went to Louis and Clark College and it was a lot better because since my mom's family was from Oregon we visited often so I saw him a lot more

I tore it in the beginning of 8th grade and my knee was never the same since

This was important because I chose to go to a school that was not m home school because of soccer and also academics and did not know anyone

I transferred to where all my close friends went and had a much better high school experience

This was a huge downfall because I was going to play soccer in college and now I was not going to recover in time to get back to where I was or I was going to have to work extremely hard to earn a spot my sophomore year

I had a terrible freshman year in the dorms and I wanted to transfer back home for school

I met my best friend and stayed

The made a huge difference in my college experience. Not only did I get less homesick, but my sister and I became very close especially in comparison to how we were in high school.

Here I am in my last term of college not exactly ready for graduation, but I am excited for what is in store. My family set me up for great success by supporting me and allowing me to do anything and everything I set my mind to. I could not be more grateful for my family and how many amazing opportunities I have had.
