My Historically Significant Moments

  • My Parents Divorce

    My Parents Divorce
Although I was only 3 at the time, the moment my parents decided to separate that meant a huge change. A move, and ultimately a loss. I had nothing to do with the divorce of my parents, and it wasn't an issue I could control or was even conscious about but It affects me to this day, If this had not happened my life would be completely different.
  • Moving Back To Mexico

    Moving Back To Mexico
I was 5 when I moved back to Mexico. At the time I didn't really know anything about my culture and didn't know how to speak any Spanish. This move is the reason why I am now fluent in Spanish and so close with the Mexican side of my family.
  • My Mom Remarried

    My Mom Remarried
While still in Mexico my mom got married again to Victor who is now my stepdad. This was a huge change for me since I didn't even remember having a dad and as far as I knew I didn't know what having a dad or a father figure like that was.
  • Moving To Canada Again

    Moving To Canada Again
I moved back to Canada with just my mom when I was 9, and my stepdad joined us a few years later. It was a big change since although I already knew English it was a very different country in terms of culture. I was also leaving most of my family so I changed my relationship with them.
  • Covid-19 Hit

    Covid-19 Hit

Changing most aspects of our lives, school, financial stability, and sometimes even our appearance. Fortunately, I find the change it has had on me to be positive and has changed my personality and the way I look.
