My Growth and Development

  • MY BIRTH

I was born on August 2, 2002 at St. Lukes Hospital in Chesterfield, Missouri. I weighed 9 lbs. 2 ounces
  • First time I rolled over

It was fun rolling over for the first time, I think....
  • Crawling around the house

It sounds funny to think that I used to crawl to get around different places I wanted to explore in the house.
  • No more bottles for me!

My mom said that once I had the cup thing figured out my favorite thing to do when she would give me a cup of juice in my sippy cup was to take the lid off and spill it out on my highchair tray and splash it around.
  • Swimming on my own

We had a swimming pool in our back yard so I got lots of practice. No more floaties for me!
  • Walking

Things look better from up here!
  • Talking

Im sure all my words didn't come just right, but I understood everything I was saying :)
  • Writing

They weren't big words yet, but in preschool we learned how to do our best guess writing.
  • Reading

    I love to read!
  • Riding my bike - 2 wheels

This was sooo much fun! My mom video taped me going solo on my bike for the first time.
  • First day of kindergarten

I remember my first day of kindergarten at Henderson Elementary. I was a little scared but mostly excited about meeting new friends.
  • Lost my first tooth

I noticed a lot of kids at school were missing teeth some of them talked funny, it was strange, and then I joined them.
  • Tying my shoes

So far this has been one of my hardest accomplishments. I think I liked the velcro shoes best.
  • 3rd grade

I love 3rd grade. I keep working and improving on all of the things I learned when I was younger. I can't wait to see what comes next!
