Up until the age of five, my family lived with my grandparents, where I had my first encounter with traditional media. I recall having an antique television and radio at home.

Over the summer, we go to my grandparents' house. I used to listen to the radio with my grandmother every night before sleeping. Also during this time, my grandfather regularly buys newspapers. My cousins and I would solve the newspaper's word game and sudoku after my grandfather had read it.

My parents purchased a Samsung tablet that my siblings and I shared. At this point, we also had pocket wifi, and I learned how to download games, Snapchat, and other apps. In addition, my first social media account was created this year.

Before entering high school, I got my first touchscreen phone. There are a lot of advantages to owning this kind of phone. I can store more data on it, it's portable, it's more interactive and entertaining than a keypad, and communicating with others is a lot simpler. I have replaced my smartphone at least three times since then to the present.
