    Brunelleschi was a talented architect taken in by the Medici’s to finish the Dome of Santa Maria del Fiore. This gave the Medici family popularity and control throughout Florence and ultimately was the beginning of the Renaissance in Florence.

    Martin Luther wrote 95 Theses

    Martin Luther wrote the 95 Theses and nailed them to the wall of the church. These were improvements he thought the church should make, however, he was excommunicated, but not before he got many supporters. Due to Luther the Protestant religion was created and many others that stemmed off of Christianity. He also started the Reformation and caused change in the Catholic Church.

    King Henry VIII Establishes Church of England

    The Church of England was established in order for the Protestants to break away from the harsh Catholic rules and the corrupt Popes. This being church being established was an important part of the Reformation of England and the Renaissance.
