This obviously is where my life all started, when I first came into the world.

If I hadn't met Cameron, I wouldn't be who I am today. Me and him had the best times together with house Nerf fights, water gun wars and Coke chugging contests.

My brother has really changed me, by being not only a sibling, but also a friend, and confidant. Having him around really changed me personally.

Going to school for the first time was really scary, but I've learned a lot from it. Having a great education at school was important for me in order to achieve such a high level of sucess in my life, from Churchill Meadows to Ruth Thompson Public schools.

Getting the chance to play hockey for the Erindale Spitfires has definitely helped carve who I am. Hockey has become my number one sport, and is a great source of exercise. If I didn't play hockey, I'd probably be lounging around at home doing nothing. Hockey keeps me active and up-beat.

Playing the piano really helped to carve my life, as it added a musical element into me. My life would not be the same if it hadn't been for my talent on the piano.

Not only was I lucky enough to have a brother, I also got a sister as well. With her cheerful personality and can-do attitude, she always makes my day when I'm feeling down.

When I first received my pet fishes as a Christmas gift, I thought that they were presents from my grandparents, and nothing more. However, I was wrong. My fishes taught me a million (okay, I'm exaggerating here) life lessons, the most prominent one being responsibility. Having to change their water, feed them and clean their tank every week showed me that if I wanted a pet, then I'd have to be willing to remember and be responsible about it.

Having a job delivering newspapers for the Mississauga News when you're ten years old is no easy feat, but if you have the diligence and resposibility, then you should definitely take it on, like I did. Having a newspaper route encouraged me to keep on task and take on more responsibility in the community.

Winning the Valedictorian award obviously feels amazing, but more importantly, it showed me how far I've come, and where life has taken me.
