    Jackson Browne, Murphy Center
Had been waiting for three years to see him live... Finally got to go & it was my first date with the guy I would later marry!

    My life through concerts

The music that I've listened to over the years has shaped my thoughts, my sense of self, and my convicitions. It continues to influence my view of the world.
  • Jackson Browne , solo acoustic at TPAC

Front row seat - I could hear his foot patting the stage keeping time :)
And then... I met him after the show!!! He was kind and gracious, exactly who I had thought he was for all the years i'd been listening.
  • Jackson Browne, Starwood

JB with Steve Earle and Keb Mo - Sat about 8 rows back, all three guys played a song together at the very beginning as a thankyou for being on time.
  • Matchbox Twenty

Took a family road trip to Memphis to see MB20 at the Pyramid. My husband, daughter, and I had seen them in June that year at Starwood, but this show was special because our son got to go, too. We loaded up and made a mini-vacation out of the trip. Saw Rob Thomas a few times after as a solo artist.
  • Coldplay, Starwood Amphitheatre

Biggest crowd and most engaged crowd I ever saw at Starwood. Everybody was watching the show - there were no people milling around at concessions. Spectacular performance.
  • Ryan Adams, the Ryman

My first time seeing Ryan Adams. I had heard "Come Pick Me Up" in the Elizabethtown movie, bought the soundtrack, then promptly bought Cold Roses. I've been a fan ever since. Neal Casal opened and Ryan played the drums for him. This was also the infamous show where the drunk fan threw a bottle on the stage.
  • Counting Crows & Goo Goo Dolls, Starwood

One night, two iconic bands, two great shows
  • Gin Blossoms, Josh Kelley at 3rd and Lindsley

This was the start of something big. It was the first time I had been to one of the smaller venues in Nashville, and after that experience, the small shows became my favorites.
  • Keaton Simons & Josh Kelley, 12th & Porter

Keaton Simons & Josh Kelley, 12th & Porter
Have seen Keaton about 11 times, 3 or 4 times with Josh Kelley. Some of my favorite concert memories
  • Needtobreathe, ExitIn

  • Needtobreathe, Cannery Ballroom

    Needtobreathe, Cannery Ballroom

Two nights, front row, probably favorite shows ever. My daughter and I were so excited. Both days, we got there before lunchtime and sat at the front doors in order to ensure we were close to the stage. Sweet, sweet memories...
  • Coldplay, Viva La Vida Tour, Sommet Center

Incredible show - a big scale show, confetti, lights, everything. I appreciated that they moved out to the audience at the back of the venue to do a few songs. Snow Patrol opened, and we were thrilled when we saw on the back of the concert tee that they were playing the Ryman later that fall. Also, my daughter & our concert buddy met Gary Lightbody :)
  • Snow Patrol

    Snow Patrol
Love this band - such positive energy, kind interaction with audience, intense performance. Have seen them again at the Ryman since and will make it a point to always see them if they come to Nashville.
  • Mat Kearney, Cannery Ballroom

Proud that Mat Kearney decided to settle in Nashville.
  • Matthew Mayfield, 3rd and Lindsley

    Matthew Mayfield, 3rd and Lindsley
One of my favorite artists - have seen him perform 16 times at various venues and in 3 states.
  • Jackson Browne, Ryman Auditorium

Perfect birthday present from my sweet daughter. We had seen him before at the Ryman, but this time was even better.
  • Rites of Spring, 2013

    Rites of Spring, 2013
Great lineup - Drew Holcomb & the Neighbors, Mat Kearney, & Needtobreathe were the best!
  • John Butler Trio, the Ryman

    John Butler Trio, the Ryman
First saw JBT at City Hall back in the day. Saw them again at the Ryman in 2010 and was impressed all over again.
  • Switchfoot, War Memorial Auditorium

Had seen these guys before several years ago, but they made a lasting impression on me with this show. I've never seen a more genuine relationship between artist and fans.
