    Egypt

    Egypt was taken over by the Hyksos, the Nubians, the Assyrians, the Achaemenid Persians, and the Macedonians under Alexander the Great. Loss of culture and the absence of the health care system are some consequences of egypt getting taken over. Egypt is doing pretty good today, they have a president and a government system.
  • Australia

    From 1788, Australia was treated by the British as a colony of settlement, not of conquest. Colonisation has resulted in inequity, racism and the disruption of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures.
  • Indonesia

    In 1796 Indonesia was taken over by India. Indonesia gained back their independence and have a good relationship with India. India and Indonesia share close cultural and commercial contacts.
  • China

    China was colonized by Britain in 1841. Pollution and overpopulation are some of the long term consequences that china has faced. Now China is doing ok and they are still living on, even though they are majorly overpopulated.
  • Mexico

    America officially took over Mexico on February 2nd, 1848. America got more land and more valuable materials like gold. Although America only got 55% of Mexico's land. Mexico is doing great as of now even though they have 55% less land than they lad before.
  • Malaysia

    The British took over Malaysia and made them a colony in 1867. A lot of economic growth happened to Malaysia as well as the planting and growth of plants. Malaysia is now independent and doing great.
  • Phillipines

    Spain took over the Phillipines in 1898 following the Spanish-American war. The Phillipines went into rapid modernization after being colonized. Today the Phillipines are still doing great.
  • Cuba

    Spain was in charge of Cuba until the war, then America got Cuba but soon let a new Cuban government take full control of the state. Due to the Platt Amendment Cuba was forced to grant the continuing U.S. right to intervene on the island. Cuba is doing good in today's time and AMerica and Cuba have a decent relationship.
  • New Zealand

    New Zealand was taken over by Great Britain from 1841 to 1907. New Zealand still does not have full independence from Britain. Most of New Zealand is of European decent.
  • Congo

    In 1908 Congo was taken over by Belgian and was renamed Belgian Congo. remained a colony until the Democratic Republic of Congo gained its independence in 1960. Congo has remained unstable for the most part after gaining independence.
  • Kenya

    Kenya was declared a British colony on July 23, 1920. British rule in Kenya was categorized by unfair labor, structural racism, and forced resettlement based on the desires of the colonial settlers.
  • Austria

    Hitler marched into Austria in March of 1838, however Austria became its own country in May of 1955. Hitler put his camps in Austria and they still remain there to this day. Austria is thriving as a country and is happy to be split from germany.
  • Vietnam

    Germany rapidly took over vietnam in the mid-1940s. Vietnam has since become an independent state as part of the French Union in 1949. Vietnam is still a developing country and is doing pretty good with their fast growing economy.
  • `India

    India was imperialized by Britain from 1858 to 1947. The British racism and missionaries hurt Indian culture. Even though India gained independence from Britain, the remains of western imperialism are still there.
  • Sudan

    The british colonized Sudan in 1955. This developed unstable power structures between the North and South. In 1956 Sudan gained their independence from Britain and are doing great.
