Creating a new timeline
After you have succesfully made your timetoast account, click "Create a new timeline" and this will open up a new page -

Starting with the basics
After you have opened a new page for your new timeline, you will be asked to type in a title, choose a catergory, and upload a picture. you don't have to upload a picture for your title if you don't want to. -
Making your timespan
After you have made your title, click "add timespan" and choose the dates that associate with the beginning and end of your timeline. you can choose any date from 0 to the far future. -
Adding events
For any timeline, there needs to be information on it. click "add event" to add any event of your choosing. make sure it makes sence with your topic and is hisorically corect. -
Viewing your timeline
When you are finished with your timeline and you want to see all your work put together, click "View timeline" at the bottom left corner of the screen. Make sure that you have all your information on the timeline and it looks the way you want it. -
*TIPS*
Make sure all of your dates and your timespan are acurate, the last thing you want is to have inacurate information. Also try to add a picture to every date, doing this ives the reader a better understanding of your information.
