    In order to continue the revolution, the Jacobins wanted to keep morale high and remove anyone who wasn't supportive of the revolution. This marks the start of Robiespierre's reign of terror in which all "traitors" were executed in France.

    Women of France take matters into their own hands, screaming for the blood of the queen, they march into versailles, beheading all the gaurds and would probably rip the queen to shreads. Luckily the royal family escapes, only to be trapped and held until demands are met. The royal family is forced to be emprisined in France.

    Sensing danger in the country, the monarchs understand that danger will come soon. The royal family disguise themselves as peasants and make it to the border only to be stopped by soldiers loyal to the Revolution.

    The king, a big symbol of the previous absolute monarch, must be removed in order to preserve the revolution. King Louis XVI is falsely convicted of treason and executed at the guillotine.

    A victim of his own reign of terror, Robespierre becomes paranoid and creates a list of suspected traitors from within his friends. HIs friends realize that he's gone too far and Robiespierre is put on trial and delcared an outlaw. An unsuccessful suicide attempt merely silences him and he is eventually executed

    Napoleon gains popularity by enforcing many favorible laws and his great military experience from the revolution helps as well. Napolon is named FIrst Consul, giving him supreme power, leading to his crowning of king.
