The king, queen and their children try to flee Paris in fear of their lives. But the king is recognized in Varennes and is ordered back to Paris. The National Assembly suspends most of his privileges. -

The National Assembly final got their new constitution. This meant that the National Assembly needed to be dissolved. But a new form of government was made called the Legislative Assembly. -

Marie's was easily convicted during her trial. she was sent straight to the guillotine for execution. She was beheaded at the place de la revolution. -

This was a time of very extreme violence. The 3rd estate was running the privileged out of the country by murdering the wealthy on the spot. Many government official were beheaded like King Louis XVI. -
