    The Bastille was a prison that held many weapons. The angry mob outside knew they needed weapons if their revolution was going to happen. So the mob successfully stormed the Bastille and obtained their weapons

    Many people were out raged by the insults made to the tricolor cocarde and decided to march on Versailles. The next day a crowd of women march into the palace and demand the king comes with them to Paris. The king agrees and the National Assembly also moves to Paris.

    The king, queen and their children try to flee Paris in fear of their lives. But the king is recognized in Varennes and is ordered back to Paris. The National Assembly suspends most of his privileges.

    King Louis XVI was brought in for trial but lost 707 to 0 guilty. During to the trial Robespierre shouted "Louis must die so the nation can live." Then at 10:22 King Louis XVI was beheaded.

    Marie's was easily convicted during her trial. she was sent straight to the guillotine for execution. She was beheaded at the place de la revolution.
