    the lower class in France was forced to pay expensive taxes so normally they ended up not having any money left for themselves. meanwhile the nobility paid no taxes and lived a life of pleasure and happiness.
  • Enlightenment thinkers

    After the enlightenment thinkers to find a solution to their problems thinkers started influencing the people they began to get together to find a solution to their problems.
  • Estates

    In this era people were divided into three groups or Estates the nobility who lived a life of luxury and didn't have to pay taxes the Catholic who owned about 10% of the land and only had to pay 2% of their income to the government, and in the Third Estate( which was divided into two) the middle class which were bankers and Factory owners and other workers and the lower class which were the poor and hungry citizens of France

    The citizens of France had gone in an economical crisis that struck Terror to them knowing that they might lose everything.

    During this same time, King Louis XVI and his wife Marie Antoinette had been spending the money unjustly leaving the people with nothing until they themselves were not able to take another extra loan from the bank.

    because of song Rumors, people thought that King Louis was going to use military force to dismiss the National Assembly but at the same time people believed that foreign armies would come to Paris to Massacre the French people, so they took action

    French women stormed into King Louis and Queen Marie Antoinette Palace demanding food then they ended up convincing the king and queen to leave their palace of which they never returned
  • consequences

    After the terrible decisions, the unfair taxes King Louie started to face the consequences becoming more and more in-dept, especially since now his wife I was trying to help him in the government ( but failing)
  • Tennis Court Oath

    The third Estate people realized that they were locked out of their meeting room and to resolve this they broke down a door to the tennis court creating an oath that they would not leave without a new constitution
