First day of School
On my first day of school, I had to leave my parents and sit with "strangers" for the whole day. I had to learn to become more independent after this, and learn to make new friends -
Graduation
After I graduated from Kindergarden, I entered first grade. I had to learn to do homework on my own and not get in trouble as much. -
My cousin moved to California
My older cousin moved to California. He moved near me, so I went to his house a lot. He was very important in shaping my character because I hanged out with him a lot, and he taught me a lot of things. -
Broke my Arm
After falling off a ramp with my skateboard, I went to the hospital. I found out my arm and wrist was broken. My parents got more cautious of my actions, and didn't allow me to ride my skateboard alone at parks anymore. -
Getting into Oxford
After I got into Oxford, I had to change my whole lifestlye. Compared to my old school Oxford had much more homework as well as Independence. You had to do many things by yourself now. -
Grades
At the end of the year I got my grades, and they weren't great. My parents realized they needed to push me. They started checking on me to see if I was doing all my homework. This was really annoying, so I told them I would get good grades if they stopped bugging me. After that in 8th grade, I started wanting to get all A's, and although I didn't, I got okay grades, compared to what I would have gotten if i didn't care. -
Basketball Team
I tried out for the basketball team nad didn't make it. This told me I didn't to play outdoor sports more often and get more into shape. After school, however, I started playing with friends. This way I got really good at Basketball. This imporoved my self-confidence.
