Finally again now this May I became an uncle to my nephew Briggs Tentler.
  • Storm's wedding

This day was a long time coming. 4 years after they met and 2 years after having their son my sister and my now brother in law were getting married. Wayne was the big brother I never had and meant a lot to our family so this was a special day. For me this was so important because I got to see my sister so happy and see what it is going to be like on my future, to be able to work on a relationship and go through life with someone special to you and start a family.
  • First Dog

    First Dog
It was the day before fathers day and my Dad layed this line on my sister. He said "If you love me you will." He could've said anything in the world but we all know what was going to come next. He had been searching for a German Shepard and he found one in VA but being a working man he couldn't take a day to go get it so he said "If you love me you will go get my dog." And she did. This was my first pet and I had to learn a lot of responsibility and patience taking care of it.

Kobackers a place I had being going to my whole life. I had asked my uncle for a job two months prior, it was time I started to make my own money. So I got placed in the butcher shop, a room I knew nothing about or how it worked. I had to learn all sorts of codes, how to wrap anything placed in front of me and take care of my own case. I was working full time for two weeks and had to learn on the fly and I was able to do it, now almost two and a half years later an 8 hour shift is nothing.

I had played football my whole life. The dream from when you are little is to play on Friday night. My sophomore year I got that chance, I was moved up to play center, I was so excited. After going through double sessions and a five team scrimmage it was time my first game. A day where the heat index was near 100 degrees we traveled to Pearl River, I had my ups and downs in the game but we won my first game on varsity, I played good and have started every game since.
  • Day I got my first car/license

When I had first got my permit I had just gotten a car for my birthday. So waiting 6 months to get my liscense looked like an eternity, but I learned a lot in that time and I'm happy for everything I learned. The thing I was most proud of was my mom getting into a car with me, she never drove with my sister during her 6 months. But I had been driving so well that she got into the car with me. A few months later I took my road test and passed. My life would change forever I was now free.
  • First College visit

    First College visit
When I had first gotten in the car I saw this college visit as a way to get out of school for a long weekend. Then we arrived on this beautiful campus it was pretty but I still wasn't very impressed. Then we took the tour 2 long hours of talking and walking through the campus. After I left that day I'd fallen in love. What I thought was pretty, this campus was beautiful, the academics were out of this world and a place that by the end I could see myself becoming an adult.

Coach Cleary every year has asked us to do the lineman challenge since we were freshman, our junior year we caved and said fine. We got a team of together and went, the 5 of us left that day with 10th place out of thirty teams and the final 4 in tug of war. We shocked ourselves so a year later we trained and went again. We came in 4th overall the best for an A school and 1rst in the tug of war out of all schools.
  • Hiking Mount Marcy

    Hiking Mount Marcy
I dreaded this day from the time my dad scheduled this trip. It was an 18.2 round trip to hike the highest mountain in NY State. We started a 7 oclock at night hiked 3.6 miles and slept on the ground in the middle of the woods, safe right? So the trip was going great. We woke up at 7:30 and started the 5.5 miles up the rest of the mountain. We got to the top around 11:40 hung out for an hour and then hiked 9.1 miles all the way back down to the car. I had learned a lot about myself that day.
