Life Span Timeline

  • Biological Development

The conception has happened. I am only but a zygote in the zygote stage. My cells will begin to diffrentiate in the next 10-14 days, and my gender has yet not been determined.
  • Biological Development

I was born, still a fetus. My eyes are still closed yet, and my movement is little to none whatsoever. I am fully dependant on a caretaker (my mother). My basic refelxes is rooting, sucking, crying when hungry, and am able to recognize my mother within the first hour. My neural connections grow in less complex parts of the brain, as well as the motor and sensory strip which enables body functions and basic survival skills.
  • Social Development:

Although just 1 years old, I can explore small areas but still need my mother in my presence. I have a secure attatchment with her and got sad when she left me while I was playing. Although I did cry, I stopped and started playing again after she held, hugged, and talked to me. I was rather a happy baby most of the time.
  • Cognitive Development

Sensorimotor Stage (birth-2 years): I can pretty much walk about and explore out and about. My motor strip and sensory strip allows me to make movements, and explore by looking, hearing, touching, mouthing, and grasping different objects and things. I've newly come to accepting and understanding the idea that objects and things I have seen before are there somewhere, even though they are not present in my being.
  • Cognitive Development

Preoperational Stage (2-7yrs): I am 7 years old and have my own perception of how I see and interpret things and situations. I've sort of gotten the idea of understanding that a quanitity does not change even if shaped or arranged differently (ex: blocks laid out vertically or horizontally).
  • Cognitive Development

Concrete Operational Stage (6,7 - 11) + Formal Operational Stage (11+): I am 12 years old and in 7th grade. I can interact with others and do not need my mother with me all the time. I understand basic mathematics and have mooved on to learning geometry and algebra and solving arithmetic transformations. In English, my ability to understand sayings, analogies, and etc. has becoome good.
  • Social Development

I am 16 years old have tried out many different things. Just getting into my growing stage, I am still seraching for who I truly am and trying to find my role and identity. I have various activities, such as sports, but can not seem to find something I truly enjoy. I do find acting a lot of fun and so have joined theater. I have hung out with different people and seem to enjoy outings and hanging out together fun. I do not find recreational medicine and video games too appealing.
  • Cognitive Development

Adolescent cognitive development: I am 16 years old in 10th grade. My fundamentals of everyday life, concepts, religious views, and etc. have become clear to me and full understood. I now think about life, philosophy, and ponder on where my destiny will lead me. I am making decisions about which business field I want to go on and making goals to achieve by the end of highschool. I also am rather limited on what I say to people or else they'll be hurt and I will face consequences.
  • Social Development

My parents have been authoritative with me and I think it is perfect. Although it is annoying sometimes how I can not go out, I am happy I am not under bad influences and am not aggressive or disrespectful towards my peers and elders. I would want to raise my children this way. I'm glad they are open to me and do not scold me or ground me all the time. They understand that I will argue more and have mood swings as I am a teen but that'll go away with age.
  • Biological Development

I hit puberty the most at this time while still 17, as I grew taller than I ever had, grew more facial hair, felt growth pains, grew body hair all round, lost baby fat, and had many arguments with eders as I was facing changes in mood and behavior. This was because my body was ready to hit puberty and my brain took that and the pituitary gland got to work. It worked the most as it released a lot of testosterone.
  • Social Development

I started a family with my wife a couple of years ago. One one child, a son, is growing up pretty fast and will get into his teen years soon. I am going to be authoritative on him as I do not want him to hate us or get under bad infleunce and get out of control. I want him to be obediant and respectable, but with a little bit of leniancy and leeway here and there. I have been with him everyday for the past years and took him out to parks and so his health and future will be much better.
  • Biological Development

I am a lot older now at 82 years of age. Since puberty kicked in, regions of my brain began o shrink, my frontal lobes atrophy decreased inhibition and self control, so I tend to be more blunt. I I have lost 5% of my brain as well. My visual acuity, hearing, reaction time, and neural processing speed has also significantly decreased and am more prone to diseases and flu's.
