    In 1970 Ervil's older brother Joel, kicked him out of the Church for his acts that contradicted the churches beliefs. Therefore he took it upon himself to take his rightful God-given position in his own church
  • First Victim of Blood Atonement

    Ervil constructed and executed a plan to murder his older brother. He justified his actions by claiming it was done under the "Blood Atonement" policy
  • Acts of the Church

    Ervil began writing letters to many polygamists, threatening them that if they do not ally with the Church of the Lamb of God they would be punished.
  • The Move

    Ervil had migrated his church and followers down to California. Picking up from where he left off he continued to send threats to other churches, telling them to join the Church of the lamb of God.

    After continuous murders & attempted murders on those he had prejudice against ( this including those in and out of the church) Ervil tried fleeing to mexico and was eventually caught and convicted in the US.
  • Death

    Ervil Lebaron died in jail in 1981. After his death, his sons assumed the role of leaders of the Church.
  • Death of the Church

    The church did not change after Ervil's death. Members of the group and innocents continued to be murdered under "blood atonement." Aaron Lebaron was the next to be convicted for the acts of the church, he was sentenced to prison for 45 years. With that being the last leader of the church it has presumably ended
