    A meeting was held in the council of Nicaea in order to discuss the things in which we should believe in. This was a very important event since the 'Nicene Creed' was created out of this.

    Martin Luther 95 Theses - 1517-1520
    The 95 Theses were written by Martin Luther and stated the aspects of the catholic church and wrote about the abusive practices involving indulgences. Soon after this, his books were being burnt and Pope Leo X told him to speak no more of his belief or he would be excommunicated. After apologising to the Pope, Martin Luther continued to speak of his 95 Theses'.

    Pope Paul III held a meeting at the council of trent to discuss issues involving the reformation of the church. At the first meeting, the council decided that original sin can be removed through baptism. The also decided that the scripture was a representation of God. After this the council began to fight, so the council had to relocate elsewhere.
