    Washington’s Proclamation of Neutrality

    This proclamation would basically make the US a neutral entity that we wouldn't favor one country over another and that we would be the same towards each.
  • Jay Treaty

    Jay Treaty

    This treaty was made to hopefully prevent a war from starting against Great Britain. But in the end, it would be pointless and a war would later break out with Great Britain.

    Washington’s Farewell Address

    This would be George Washingtons' message to Congress warning them about political parties and how they would be the undoing of our nation. He also input his belief about relations with foreign country.

    This would be when the British attacked American Vessels. One of the Captains refusing to be searched, would spark tensions between the British and Americans even more.

    This was an act that was passed by Thomas Jefferson that would end trade with Great Britain and France. This would be the first act of its kind to be passed but it would not work and would just cause a crap ton of our money to go bye-bye.

    This was a group of young Southerners and Westerners who strongly disliked the conflicts with Spain, France, and Britain. They would contribute highly to the War of 1812.

    This would be when British sailors would capture sailors and accuse them of Deserting the British. They would then be forced to work on the ships they where taken by.

    This is when the war kicked off and we started killing British, French, and Spanish people because we didn't like what they're doing and we tried.

    He was an Indian leader but the biggest effect that he had on the War of 1812 was when he died. This would cause the collapse of his confederacy. Causing alliances with Indians to go down hill.

    This is when Federalist delegates were unhappy with the War of 1812. They held secret meetings in Hartford Connecticut and they talked about how they believed it was unbalanced powers.
  • Treaty of Ghent

    Treaty of Ghent

    This would be the Treaty that would end the War of 1812. This treaty would end disputes over territory and would allow help to put fighting between countries to end. This would allow for trade to start back between these countries.
  • Battle of New Orleans

    Battle of New Orleans

    Even though the war was over soldiers were not yet informed of this and so the fighting continued between between British and Americans.
