    Lincoln was shot while watching a play by John Wilkes Booth. With the Civil War ended Booth became desperate to save the confederacy. During his escape, he dropped his pistol and broke his leg. Before fleeing he yelled Sic Semper Tyrannis. After 12 days on the run Booth met his fate.
