    Johannes Gutenberg was the man that invented the printing press. before the printing press, everything was written out by hand. Once the printing press was built then everything changed books and papers could be made faster and cost less. The printing press was a machine that was able to print multiple copies within minutes also, now people could have their own copies of things. This was an important machine because it was an advance of technology that helped the whole world.

    Christopher Columbus
    Christopher Columbus was an explorer. He thought that the shortest way to Asia was traveling west. He traveled four voyages. In the 1st voyage, he thought he landed on an Asian land. The 2nd voyage in which he returned over a thousand Spaniards also, he brought diseases that wiped out all the natives. The 3rd voyage which he mismanaged colonies and sent home as criminals. On the 4th voyage, he died and thought they reached Asia. If it had not been for Christopher then we hadn't explored.

    Martain Luther was a monk that did not believe in the church ways of viewing things. So what he did was write down what he believes was wrong with the church and post it on the church doors. He didn't believe that people should pay for their sins nor pay for them to get into heaven. The pope kicked Martin Luther out of the church. Martin Luther made up his own church for people to join that saw this as the same way he did. Without we would not have multiple religions.

    Fur trading was introduced to Europeans when traveling to the new world. fur trading quickly picked up around the world as a worldwide economic upbringing, however, the natives were going into poverty because of the Europeans taking out their fur. Fur was mainly used by natives but then Europeans took it from them.

    King Louis xiv another known as Louis the great was the ruler of France. His term started in 1661 when the minister died. The king holds the longest term of ruling to this day with 72 years and 110 days. Louis was known for government control and the ability to make an arm for wars that he faced. He made his economic status better by the wars and alliances that he was involved with. His impact on Europe is forever remembered as a great ruler.
