She died when I was around the age of 5 or 6. I don't have much to say about this event because I didn't know her well. But I made a few observations at her funeral. I learned that coming together with family is one of the strongest bonds you can have.

When I first picked up a dumbbell I fell in love! I've been going to the gym everyday since I was around 12 years old. Working out has molded me into a stronger person mentally and physically because it helped me find a passion in life.

My first reaction when my Dad told me we were moving, I was devastated. I realized change is a big part of life and life-changing events could happen to me at any given time. So, I learned to accept it and accept whatever life will throw at me. Looking back on it now a few years later, I'm glad we moved because Arizona is great!

Summer of 8th grade began, and I had a voice in the back of my mind. The voice would nag at me, "hurry up and decide!" I had to decide if I wanted to go to school with my best friends or go to a complete different school with my girlfriend at the time. In the end, it was a great decision that made me realize my decision-making abilities.

As mentioned earlier we couldn't afford our house anymore. After almost being homeless and having to live with strangers for a few months, it really changed me. Hardships come and go so don't let anything ever break you.

My other big passion in life is rap music. I never ever thought in my life that I would ever make music, I just dreamed of it. I learned that anything in life is possible no matter how hard it may seem.

This was probably one of the biggest things that changed me. Everybody will experience the break-up of their first love and people go about it in different ways. It changed me because I started living for myself more and not for other people.

Freshman year, summertime, my best friend Kobe moved to San Diego. I was upset at first but not for long. He still comes down and visits, and if you really want to keep a friendship, you just have to communicate and be willing to put in time. I learned to to be a better friend.
