Cable Companies need to get a written or electronic consent to gather any personal information. But no consent is required for "information needed for cable services".

the online consumer policy from obama is to fully protect us online and allow us not to be tracked on any website we go on we should be able to feel safe and surf the web with out worrying that were being tracked i give this policy an A+ because it will fully protect us and all our personal information from any website we go on
