Years at School (Al Amanah College)

  • Kindergarten

I spent my time in class quiet because at that time i didn't know anyone except my parents. I eventually made a friend a before I knew it people respected me because of the ways I had helped them
  • Year 1

Year One was exceptional. I had new friends and some of my friends in kindergarten moved to different classes. I was able to make 2 new friends and I found the work challenging and different to other work I did in kindy. To be honest, I'm quite ashamed that I was unable to understand the work.
  • Year 2

This wasn't memorable. I just did what I did and enjoyed class. Pretty much a bore.
  • Year 3

This was also not so challenging, in my classes I always did my work but sometimes never understood my teacher's pronunciation. I was ahead of the class because I had studied about the human body at home.
  • Year 4

Nothing particularly interesting. Just some boring days of spending time at school. I wasn't interested in doing anything because I found work to easy to do.
  • Year 5

This was another year where I didn't think I was being challenged to a high level. I felt that the teachers didn't realise that we couldn't learn anything new if we didn't do work that challenged us.
  • Year 6

This was basically the greatest year I had spent at school. The teachers understood the meaning of challenging the students to a high level. This was something my Year 4 & 5 teachers didn't quite understand. In this grade I felt I had finally achieved something in this school that I never did before. I was pleased with getting B+ as I knew that I could finally improve in areas that I usually got A+.
