First Day of Highschool
My first day of highschool was probaby the worst day of my life. I had not gone to the Etowah Walk through so i had no idea which buildings I had to go to. I was completly lost and i wound up being extremly late to every class. I was the last person to get into the class room so I was not able to sit by my fiends. I wound up sitting in the back around people I did not know. -
Making the Etowah Colorguard
When I first heard of colorguad I had no idea what it was. I watched a video being played at ET Booth that was trying to get people to tryout. I decided I would give it a try. The first day of tryouts I started to cry. It was really hard and I wasnt expecting that. I had no idea this was going to be a life changing think for me. -
Getting a Letter for my Grades
Through out highschool I have always been concerned with my grades. I always wanted to get the best grades that I could. My parents pushed me to my highest, and knew I could try a little more if I wanted too. Even with Senior year I am trying to have the highest grades I can. When I got a lettter for them, I felt amazing. -
Becoming Colorguard Captain
At every Band Banquet the Etowah band director chooses leadership for all the sections in the band. By this time it was my junior year and I had stayed with colorguard sense my freshman year. I was not expecting to get my name called out, but when it did I was so happy. I was in shock that Mr. Foxworth gave me this leadership role. I was so excited for my senior year to start as captain. -
Going to Woodstock Highschool's Prom
When I was asked to prom I was so excited. To the point where I would try on my dress everyday leading up to prom. I had never been to a dance before, so knowing I was going to prom was a very big deal for me. I was excited that Woodstock's prom was at the Fox Theature. After the night was over I could not wait for my senior year prom! -
Etowah High School's Prom
My senior prom was the best it could ever be. I was in a great group that had a lot of fun. We went and got sushi beofre and danced like crazy when we got there. I loved my dress so much. I want to keep my dress for forever so mayne i could show my children what i wore for my prom. I wish I could go back! -
My last Full Day of Highschool
Im sitting here thinking and not fully realizing that today is it. This is my last full day for being a senior in highschool. Im about to jump into the real world and learn about it. I know I havent really realized it yet becuase I dont feel nervous or feel like anythink is changing, but a lot of things are about to change. -

Making The Edge Independent
Being in colorguard for four years making me a very strong spinner. My coach was part of a team the competed with UGA Alabama and with other Independet groups. These groups traveled all over the county to compete with other teams. My coach asked me if I wanted to try out for the team she is on becuase she thought I had a shot. After ilearned I made it I was in shock and cound not breath. I was going to be spinning with the best of the best. We travelded everywhere including Ohio.
