I was born January 17, 1996 in Mercy General Hospital on Muskegon Michigan -
Day Care
I began going to day care at age 3 and would continue through age 9. This was a social change because i was introduced to a wide variety of different children at different ages. Also, I would consider this a cognitive change because this is where i began learning manners and morality -
Pre School
I began pre school at age 4. This was a social significant social cahnge because this is where i met new friends outside of day care. Also this is a significant cognitive development because we began learning basics of math and arts and crafts. -
Kindergarden
In 2001 I began kindergarden at Pensylvania Elementary. Here i met my first best friend Alex and began learning addition and reading(social and cognitive). Also one of the first times i remember playing on a play ground(physical) -
3rd Grade
In 3rd grade I developed my first social group in school, even though I had another at day care. This group at school was my age, but the group at day care consisted of all older boys. In 3rd grade i also began playing baseball with my friends at school(physical), and developed my first crush on a girl in my class(social). Lastly, we learned about the solar system in 3rd grade which has kept me interested ever since(cognitive). -
5th Grade
In 2006 I started fifth grade. Here I became part of an even bigger social group and made friendships that will last througout high school. Here I met my most significant best friend Sean. I dated my elementary crush for the first time(social). I found that I was the fastest runner in the school(physical). I also became interested in football within my peer group(physical). We began learning factorization in math class, geography in social studies, and earth sciences in science class(cognitive). -
6th Grade
In 6th Grade I tried football for the fist time on the school team(physical), but shortly quit after a week. I was put into the first advanced math class that was ever available to me(cognitive). I also experienced my first emotionally devestating relationship with a girl in my class(social). -
7th-8th grade
Middle School started and I joined track for the first time. My specialty was the 70 meter dash and was undefeated in that event(physical). In 8th grade i set the West Michigan record for the 70 meter dash with a time of 8.25 seconds(physical). I made another bestfriend named Jessica.(social). Also made another best friend Parker who was essentially like a brother to me(social). I completed three high school classes in middle school: algebra, geometry, and biology(cognitive). -
First Broken Bone
Significant Physical Experience: I broke my first and only bones long boarding down the block house hill in the summer before school. I spent a week in the hosital and had surgurey on my leg. I had a titanium rod relign in shin bones which i will have for the rest my life. Significant social change: a week after i got out of the hospital my parents announced to me and my brother they are divorcing which had a devastating impact. -
High School Track
I become part of the Reeths-Puffer High School Track Team in the spring of 2011(social). This was my first high school sport. I set my personal record high jumping with a jump of 5 feet 8 inches which is the exact height of my own head(physical). -
Summer 2012
I drove across country to colorado with just my brother to see my first rock concet(social). After this we moved with my dad out of the house we'd spent 8 years in(physical). I got my first job stocking shelves at Hackley Public Library, and began my junior year in high school(social)
