    Colonist start rioting and throwing rocks at guards. The red coats eventually fire killing a total of five colonists. This sparked the american revolution and america declaring its independence from great Britain. (Kallen 200)
  • Mozart writes 5 concertos

    He was appointed to be an assistant concertmaster where he was paid very little.During this he worked with many different musical genres composing styles. He became passionate about violin concertos and wrote 5 of them. (Kallen 219)
  • Hawaii discovered

    Captain James cook discovered the island of Hawaii which today is one of the 50 states. Cook was the first European explorer to find the island of Hawaii. They were welcomed by the native and the natives were interested in the ships and use of iron.
  • Treaty of Paris is signed

    This was the treaty signed ending the revolutionary war in america. This show that america was now a free nation. Their were many battle between Britain and america eventually leading up to this treaty. It was signed between 4 countries all agreeing to peace.
  • First settlement in Sydney Australia

    The crew who founded it were led by Captain Arthur Phillip. Sydney is named after Thomas Townshend. At first food was scarce they sent a ship to south Africa for food it was rationed yet it was still very little.

    The french revolution begins. The French people attack a major prison. They did this because the people heard rumors of a massacre going to happen so they revolted. ( Henderson 8)

    Louis XVI is executed due being a terrible ruler. The Jacobins and Robespierre begin the reign of terror. This was a period of time when there were mass executions by the guillotine. (Henderson 8)

    The reign of terror ends when Maximilian Robespierre is executed by guillotine. The guillotine was the most common execution method because it was quick and efficient. The guillotine was a massive blade that was pulled up with a pulley system and dropped down on your neck delivering and quick and clean cut killing you instantly. (Henderson 8)

    she was forced to marry him. He loved her so much. This was ironic because she despised him. She spent lots of money on frivolous things. He wouldn't keep providing for her if she refused to marry him. (Henderson 8)
  • Napoleon enters italy

    Napoleon marches his men to Italy through the Great st Bernard pass. Napoleon decided to help Massena. Massena was surrounded by Austrians. Napoleon had close to 40,000 men and he chose the quickest way. This was a huge mistake because the cold temperatures and the snow made the trip very difficult. Napoleon lost lots of men on this journey. (Henderson 8)

    He was retreating from the battle. Because Russia left them he had control of the town and knew winter was coming. It was 2 degrees outside and there many blizzards. On the march back there were many ambushes. (Henderson 9)
  • Russia abandons continental system

    This is very important because its a major step that led to his downfall. He made the continental system to starve Britain of money. Also to end British trade basically destroying their economy. His plan ended up backfiring though. European nations had no access to important British colonial goods. When napoleon tightened the restrictions which led to both his allies revolting and leaving the continental system. (Henderson 9)
  • Napoleon returns from Elba

    Napoleon returns from the island he was exiled to. He tries to gain people to revolt against the monarch. He eventually fails and is exiled again.This time he exiled to a place very far away where he could not return. (Henderson 9)

    It was discovered by William smith and James Bransfield. They were the first people to spot the shore of Antarctica and find it. James cook knew it existed just never felt the need to go there and explore it.
  • Napoleons death

    Napoleon was one of the greatest military leaders to ever live. He won so many battles and had great battle strategy's. Ultimately he made very stupid decisions toward the end of his career. He ended up being exiled and eventually dying because he became greedy for power.
