I was born in Hackensack, New Jersey on Sunday to Leonard and Rosemary Ciliento. My weight was close to 10 pounds. Since that time I have gained weight steadily.

I graduated high school in 1994 and promptly moved to Hilton Head, South Carolina. It was time for a change of scenery.

I met the future Mrs. Ciliento on a blind date. We had coffee. I've been with her ever since.

Mrs. Brown hired me to teach fourth grade at Blessed Sacrament School. I loved my job but decided to leave after the birth of my second son. I needed to be closer to home in order to properly assist with parental responsibilities.

Jacob, born on July 24, 2003, met his new baby brother Ryan on this balmy Thursday afternoon. We have been on many adventures ever since.

For the next four years, I taught middle school English and history at Hilton Head Preparatory School.
