    Birth-Toddler

    During my toddler years I experienced drastic physical and intellectual development. My body grew bigger, with additions to hair, teeth ,height and weight.
  • Owl Daycare

    While attending daycare at the age of 3 i was forced to develop emotioanlly and socially as I was integrated into more interaction time with my peers. An example of social development would be learning how to handle my emotions and acting in a caring manner towards my fellow toddlers.
  • School. Kindergarten

    While attending senior kindergarten at the age of 4 I was developing intellectually through learning new concepts and basic ideas that contributed to further learning in school. I was also developing socially through increased time spent with children of the same age and learning how to make friends.

    Attending Camp Wabanki

    From the years 2005 to 2009 I attended camp Wabanki in Huntsville for two weeks each summer. During this time I spent away from friends and family for an extended period of time I lived in an entirely new environment. I lived in cabins and shared washrooms with others. I also bathed in the lake every morning at 6 am.
  • Switching Schools. Grade 6

    In grade 6 I switched schools and was forced to meet new students. Beng in a situations where I had to to experience being new and making new friends I developed emotionally and socially. The environmant in which I lived in also switched from living in the city and being able to walk to my friends house, to living in a rural area.

    Vegatarism

    While making the transition from late childhood to adolescence my thought process was changing and how I viewed the world around me. At the time I wanted to become a vegetarian. Switching my food choices changed me physically as I was consuming a variety of different foods which I had not been introduced to before. I also lost a lot of weight because I was not eating the proper foods to maintain a healthy body.

    Competitive Volleyball
    Joining a competitive volleyball team changed my body in all areas of development. I experienced physical development as my body was being trained intensely and muscle was gained. I also experienced Intellectual and emotional developments through interacting with new people and learning how to work and play as a team.

    Ottawa Trip
    At 14 I travelled with my school to Ottawa for a year end trip. I developed socially through experiencing a different culture while being away from my family. I had to make independent decisions as to when I was going to eat meals, when and where I wanted to spend my extra time and my overal experience living with friends.

    Highschool
    Highschool started off with the same friends as I left elementary school with. As I developed new interests and met new people in class, my circle of friends widened. I was joining teams and clubs which made it easy to make friends becuase many of the poeple who i surrounded myself with had similar interest as me.

    Anxiety

    I have dealt with anxiety for several years now. It effects me in multiply ways. It effects my simple decision making and I puts me behind in my tasks. This prevents me from moving forward and effects me cognitive and emotonally on a daily basis.
  • First Job

    My first job at Turtle Jacks as a Pantry Chef made me accountablable. With the job came responsibilities and expectations. As I became familar with routine I had to maintain a certain level of excellence. Through this job I experienced cognitive and personality develpoment. I had to handle myself in a professional way that would reflect my personality and work ethic. I also had to prove to co-workers and managers that I could display leadership skills in order to keep the job and gain respect
