This time span is my life.It seems I have gone along way but I know it is just the begining of a lifetime. A life is just a breath of air. As abrubtly as it comes it can leave just as fast.You only live for so long. You only have so little time. I am glad that to me I am certainly not waisting it.I will fufill my dreams. I don't be just a face you see that only my family and friends know me. I want to heard and not ignored.My life is just a breath of air. I don't know when it is going to end. -
Columbine Highschool Massacre
Two teenagers kill 13 people in a shooting spree at Columbine High School in Colorado, south of Denver. At approximately 11:19 a.m., Dylan Klebold, 18, and Eric Harris, 17, began shooting students outside the school before moving inside to continue their rampage. By 11:35 a.m., Klebold and Harris had killed 12 students and a teacher and wounded another 23 people. Shortly after noon, the two teens committed suicide. I am afected now because my mom and teachers are always wary of another massacre. -
Y2K
This was a comspiracy that in 2000 the internet was going to crash.It never happened though.It was all just a conspiracy.There literally are billions of lines of software code wherein year 2000 problems may be hidden, and numerous different programming languages and styles to contend with. Thus, each different program generally will require its own customized repairs. My mom is now convinced the internet is stupid and that I should not go on the internet. -
My Birth
When I was born everyone thought I was stubborn since the day I was born because Even though my mom pushed I wouldn't come out. She had to get a C-section. My brother was at the age of 5 then. He had to give up being the baby of the family and had to be a big boy. I was now the one who was babied so he has always held a grudge agianst me for that even though I couldn't control such things. -
The day I met my Brother
This is the day I met my brother. He told me about this once. He said that when I was little, he used to love me but then he said I learned how to talk. When I was about 3 or 4 i still couldn't talk. My mom had the school put me in a program to teach me. He said I looked so adorable and that he wished he could of held me but, now he is glad he didn't. I think he didn't want to because he thoght I had coodies. -
9/11
On this exact date the World Trade Center's twin towers were destoyed and thousand were killed because of it. This catastrophe killed lots of people and because of that even more people were killed in a war that was caused by 9/11. My mom is now wary that if the United States gets involved in another war that none of us will be safe. She always tells me that if I hear a siren she says to go into the basement and hide. -
War in Afghanistan 2004-2005
After 9/11 the U.S. declared war on Afghanistan.Thousands of our military and theirs were killed in the fight. We were waged in the war because we belived Taliban has become a threatening force active on two fronts--in Afghanistan and Pakistan. In this war, my cousin fought for the U.S.A. My cousin died a few years later. We made a shirt in his memory and everyone never wears thiers but, I wear mine and I charish it with all my heart. -
Hurricane Katrina
The hurricane destroyed 100,000 people's homes. The hurricane was not supposed to be so strong.Fortuantely, mine wasn't one of them. My mother heard about the hurricane and made sure to get our family safe distance away bafore it did any damage.Nearly 2,000 people died in the huricane.I am a surrvivor of the hurricane. -
My first meeting with my Biological Father
This is my first meeting with my biological father. It will also be my last one. I met my other sister and my first nephew then. I don't know where they are now but, hope they are okay. My mom broke up with him before she had me but, he was there at my birth. He held me but, I haven’t seen pictures of him doing so. I only have a few pictures of him.I look more like him then my mom. And sometimes I look like anyone's child. I don’t look like mom or him. I guess that just makes me different. -
The day I met my BF
She sat next beside me. She was a complete stranger tome. She kept being so nice I felt that I should ask her what her name was. And she said "Oh, I forgot to tell you. Sorry My name is Whitney".She always sat next to me after that.We never had classes together. The only time we saw eachother was during concerts and field trips for chorus. That was how I met my bestfriend Whitney.If I hadn't met her I wouldn't have met half of my other friends. She is pure of heart that is the best trait I like. -
Finished the entire Twilight series!
My mom surprised me with the gift of seeing Breaking Dawn Part 2 that day. After the movie I felt accomplished. I have now read all the books AND seen all the movies!I first saw twilight when I was bored and was looking for something to watch and it caught my eye. Ever since I am hooked. I don't like Twilight because there are HOT guys in it but because i aparently LOVE romance with alittle action!;)
