The poroclamtion was known as a warning/ announcement stating that the U.S would continue as neutral. It was also stating that they couldent get into war even if it was to help, they were not prepared. they wanted to keep it neautral and if someeone broke it they may not get protection.
The proclmation caused the war to be prevented because they would have not been prepared, caused constitutional authority, forgein policy.(lacked money, military) -
impressment of sailors
The impressment of sailors was one of the events that led to the war of 1812. This was when officers were sent to board the american ships, as well as sizeze others ships. The british army was allowed to arrest/ take men into their navy. This caused people to be angry, and create a buildup in tension, people were going against the British. another cause was that it led to thr embargo act. -
jay treaty
The Jay treaty was signhed as a solution to the disagreements happening between Britain, and the us. This treaty caused the river(Mississippi river) to be open for both of them. The main purpose was to stop temsion, problems between them.(stop war) -

Washingtons farewell was when he made the decision to not continue his term. The purpose was to warn the people. he warned them about the dangers, and for people to stay as a union, parianships, entaglments, politcal parties.

This affair was a symbol to show the bad relationship between United States, and Britian. It was known as impressment, and issues that led to war. they were stopped by british leopard, this all caused attacks, and the embargo act. British ship HMS leopard vs. Uss Chesapeake). The attack results in war. -
embargo act
The embargo act was created to prevent the french, and britian from goods. It started due to the ships getting seized. It caused people to loose their jobs, shippers were suffering, so were farmers. This act failed, and they didnt stop taking the men, and seizing ships, the only effect was the loss of money, unsucessful act, leading to the war. -

The war hawks were known as the people who cuased Madison to declare the war. they had many reasons such as, the violations that British was committing , effects being caused by the Napeloen war. They also felt like Native Americans were given a lot of help by the British. The effects were Madison declaring war. -

He was known as a native American who tried to make a condfederation of tribes, throughout the war they tried joining in with the British. His goal was to create his own idependant country. -
war of 1812 begins
the war of 1812 caused a lot of crucial acts known as allowing the us to have control over the Missipi river, the war prevented the Napoleons from fighing by paying taxes, etc. It also lead to Indians not being able to use the river. -

He wanted to gain his land back, He died on October 5th meaning everything he had went down. The NAtive Americans were probhited from the Ohio River. He was known for his Notheast territory. -

The convection was created to be a from of protection for england, and provide them with aid. The meeting that was held was to disucss any issues or complaints that occured. The effect was bringing federalist down,(they didnt continue because they felt foolish) to determine everhthing behind it. -

The treaty of Ghent occured a few years after war. the purpose of it was to change everything back to how they were before the war. U.S, and Britian were reestablished. "quo antebellum".the effefcts were everything going back to the terms it was before. -

This war was describes as the greatest land victory, it cuased the british to gain the control of the American port. Andrew was known as a hero due to this.
