One of the most famous battles of the War of 1812, the battle for Queenston Heights was both a victory and a tragedy for the British and Canadian army against the invading American army. General Sir Isaac Brock was the British Commander and the Americans were under Generals Stephen Van Rensselaer and Alexander Smyth. It was a victory for the British although General Brock was killed.
