My family had one computer (and no cell phones) that we shared. We only got to be on the computer for limited amounts of time (if at all) each day. It looked a lot like this one!
-
My favorite computer game to play as a kid was Barbie Magic Hairstyler, which we had on CD-Rom. You used the mouse to do the barbie's make-up and hair style for the day!
-
When I was a pre-teen, I had several of my favorite CD's (that is what I would save my money to buy), and I felt so cool with my walkman!
-
When I made new friends, I would communicate with them in the evenings when it was my turn to have our family computer via AOLIM.
-
My first MP3 player was small and could only hold around 100 songs. It was hard to even get songs onto it!
-
When I was 16, I got my first cell phone. All it could do was call and text, and texts cost a lot of money. I was only allowed to send about 100 texts per month, and no long distance calls!
-
I got my first laptop when I graduated high school. It was huge and heavy, and I rarely used it in college because I preferred carrying notebooks and pencils.
-
I loved this phone because I rarely accidentally hit buttons (they slid behind the screen). I still had limited texting and calling, but it was really cool because it could slide.
-
This is the phone I had through most of college. It made it a lot faster to type since it had a full keyboard, but I could still use the front when I wanted. I also had unlimited texting and could call long distance!

I still have an old macbook pro, which I love and still functions well. I was adamant about having a disc drive (and most newer computers don't have those)

This is my current iPhone (which is actually a bit outdated, but still does everything I need it to, and I'm way too cheap to buy a new one, they are expensive!)
