February 7th, 1998. I was born! I'd say it was a pretty special day.
-
It wasn't until 6 years later that I finally came to Arizona. Before then I was living in Kansas the entire time. So far I
haven't stopped living in Arizona since I came here. -
For the first few years I was moving around a ton! One of the earlier places I stayed was with my Grandmother, and I
attended Verrado Elementary for a year. Thats where I met one of my best buddies Shawn, who is still with me today and
currently attending the University of Arizona. -
Not until 2007 that I finally settled in the house I am in today, in Tartesso. I went to Tartesso elementary which was a
K-8th school, so basically my middle school years. While I haven't since Shawn since I left Verrado, I met important
people that I still see every now and then. -
Finally I've reached high school! Since my Mother worked within the Aguafria School District, I was able to choose to go
to one of their schools instead of attending Tonopah High School. That's exactly what I chose to do, and how I got into
Verrado High School. -
Finally back with Verrado, I'm also reunited with Shawn! We never lost contact since I left. Also the only person I knew
going back into Verrado. -
Unfortunately my sophomore year didn't start well when we were all schocked my Mother had passed away. Definitly tough times
for all of us, but we overcame it. But of course there are still some bumps in the road every now and then. -
Soon after if I wanted to continue to go to Verrado I needed to get myself there, so I started driving. I continued to pay
for my Mothers car, and now it is mine. It's been a very useful skill. -
Junior year I started to identify the special people in my life. Winter, who I had met the first day of that year and said
goodbye on the last. Tryndon and his family, who are like a second family to me. Richie and Angela, brother and sister. Of
course Shawn, who introduced me to the last three and has been around the longest. -
Now I'm right here, high school has always been a bumpy road since the start. Finally I'm trying to do something about it,
by attending Prima Vera. It's not a pretty situation, but I think it's nothing I won't eventually overcome.
