Mom and Dad brought me to the mall. They had already bought me a couple of items after one or two tantrums. I asked Mom if I could have this cute hand sanitizer shaped like a penguin, and she said "No, put it down". I was upset and we soon went home. I ran to my room and took out the sanitizer and put it on my bed to quickly use the washroom. Mom and Dad found the sanitizer and both scolded me by slapping my hands, telling me that my hands are not for stealing. I never stole after that. -
A piece of hair was sticking out of the top of my head. Bothered, I grabbed a pair of scissors and snipped it off. I look again into the mirror and see more pieces sticking out and continue to cut. I was finally satisfied and soon went to bed. Around 4 a.m., my Dad kissed my forehead to go to work, he paused and felt a rough patch on the center of my scalp. He called my mom over and I was awoken with a lecture and a headband to cover the toonie-sized bald spot on the center of my scalp. -
My best friend came over today. I told her about the baby bunnies in the backyard and she wanted to see them too. We took two bunnies inside and went downstairs to create an obstacle course for them to race. We used objects like Barbie fences, water bottles and toy cars. Once we finished, we set them up next to each other and timed which one finished first. We were busy laughing and one of them was gone. My mom came down and immediately started yelling at me to find it. We put them back. -
My friend Kayle came over today. We were playing with dolls in my room. We had the best idea of filling up the Barbie pool for them to swim in. I go to the washroom and fill up a "tabo" and brought it back to my room. I drained it into the Barbie pool and I estimated three more for it to be filled up. The Barbie pool was about 18 by 12 inches and 3 inches in depth. I overestimated and my floor soon was covered in water. I panicked and told her to go home and cleaned up before Mom could scold me. -
I was playing truth or dare with two friends during recess when one of them dared me to lick the basketball pole. It was absolutely freezing outside but I wasn't scared of anything. I lick the pole quickly and try to take it off but it wouldn't budge. I panicked and peeled it off. My mouth tasted like metal and my tongue was stinging. I ran inside and showed my teacher and he was shocked. I cried, huddled in my cubby and prayed for it to heal as I reminisced the taste buds I took for granted. -
I was fed too much sugar today. I was running around bugging Mom telling her that I've been bored. She finally had it with my energy and told me to go play with my brothers. My eldest brother was screaming at his video games so I checked on my other brother. I burst into the room with a ton of energy and I hear a shriek scream below me. I look down and realized I had stomped on my brother's thumb, bending it backwards. He cried, and I got screamed at by him and my Mom. He is now double-jointed. -
I was bored during recess and found myself with chalk and a friend with me. We decided to write Pyan on the walls of the school building as a ship name for two of my friends. We wrote them big in all colours of chalk that surrounded the school premises. The next day my friend and I were called down to the office and we had a talk about the two friends of the ship name. Their parents were called about the situation and My friend and I never spoke of that "ship" name again.
