Radios, one of the traditional media to be exposed into in the late 2004 because children like me were still exposed to different kinds of pastime as well as physical games and entertainments.
I've been exposed to radios because of spending too much time in my Aunt's house where they would always listen to radio every morning and late afternoons to tune in with different kind of music since they have no internet to stream music and as well as to anticipate radio dramas that'll always bring entertainment due to a real to life skits from the letter sender. Therefore, I grew the habit of listening into the information being delivered by the radio DJ's even without visually seeing them. -
I have then started to take interest in phones and television back when I became an elementary student especially due to the rise of different telenovelas, adaptation of anime and cartoons and especially texting.
It was my parents and my older brother who seemingly became the way for me to be exposed at the use of cellphones and as well my classmates who often texts each other after classes. In result, my father ended up buying me a keypad phone where I could easily connect to other people specially to my mother who by then went to abroad so the use to television and cellphones helped us to be informed by the things that are happening in a farther place. -
Secondary School phase and Social Medias
This is the time when internet started to be more dominant specially through teenagers' demands. Back in my 7th grade is when I started to learn how to use Facebook due to my classmates help and initiative to create my first FB account. Through the use different social media, I then became more exposed into different trends may it be in the field of fashion, rising technology developments and even updates on our favorite musicians and boybands. -
Modern papers
I have then advantage of the use of internet through using another platform for me to be able to share my skill in writing. One of its' examples are Wattpad and E-books. Its' rise have taken over my attention specially because software books were a big advantage because students wouldn't have to carry heavy backpacks and as well as priceless reads of our favorite novels. Therefore, I became extra knowledgeable about the information I browse in the internet whether it was credible or not. -
Dependency of my generation to the use of Internet
Ever since, I became a senior high school student, I then became more challenge to take use of the online world. Specially because of what our school demands us to give, to be more aware and competent individuals. Through the internet resources and efficient knowledge of sorting out credible sources, we even managed to finish a research paper with the help of internet. Therefore, in our everyday lives, we seemingly depend on what the internet can give even the simplest weather forecasts.
