The day I was born

I remember living on the land that is right next to the one I am currently living on. I remember walking to a fire pit over a bridge that was over a small stream that seemed so big at the time but I now realize is not. there were dogs barking as well. I don't know why this memory sticks out to me or exactly what time in my life it happened but I do remember it and thought it was important to add sense I have remembered it for years.

My cat died when I was away at my Gigs house for a week. I think it was on a Friday when I woke up and could feel my cat beside me so I pet her with my eyes closed and when I opened them she was not there. I found out when I got home that she had died and I believe that she had come to say goodbye that day.

The day a new cat that we named emerald appeared. She was a very sweet cat that had obviously had an owner before us. She spent days fallowing my mom around the land before we just decide to keep her.
