Getting Koko
It was about midafternoon on May 20th and all day my siblings and I had tried to convince our parents to get a dog. We were committed to convincing them, we had even made a slideshow showing the pros and cons of owning a dog. My parents had still needed more convincing so we had said the usual lines of "Ill walk her and take care. And, sure enough, my mother and my father had said they would talk about it so I headed downstairs and about 10 minutes later my sister told us we were getting a dog. -
Great Memory
I had woken up around 10:05 am and did nothing for a while, but then we went to the pool and had a great time swimming. Then we had walked to a known snorkeling spot, it was absolutely amazing but then we went to Blowing Rocks Park, it was a beach with jagged rocks and sharp edges but the waves crash into the rocks and water shoots up out of holes and cracks. That in itself had enough to blow me away, but the day together was probably the best memory I have of that trip. -
Day in Florida
I woke up around 9:37 in the morning and it was storming pretty bad outside. Waiting for it to clear up we watched Set it Up I thought it was great. When it did clear up we walked to the beach, Ian found a coconut and we had spent a good hour trying to break it open, but it was old so it had smelt so bad when we had finally opened it but it was still fun. Then we went to a local hotspot called Duffy's for dinner and it was so good, it was also the first time I had tried calamari, I didn't enjoy. -
Annual Inspection
My Freshman year I had taken NJROTC, one of the best decisions of my life, and it has been the class I look forward to every day. But every class has its problems, for example, Annual Inspection. It is a yearly event that makes all of the kids in NJROTC wear their uniforms and get inspected in a much more extreme way. I was so scared and nervous but all of that had happened for no reason, it had started and ended so quickly I felt. But I still hate that day every year. -
Getting Coach's Award in Golf
It was Sophomore year and I had made it through the season of golf, considerably the best times I have spent in the High School. But this season was even better, because I was the only Sophomore to break a 50 on the scorecard, my lowest being 48. I was also one of the three to do it. But that night at Sports Awards was nerve-racking and fun. The coach had stood up and started talking about the team and the respect he has for us he gave me my award. I stood there very proud and nervous. -
Ali's Game Night
I had woken up at ten today and helped fix the lawn for Ian's Graduation Party tomorrow. After that I Penny Boarded around my neighborhood for a while. Then I was off to Ali's house. When I got there no one was swimming but within 15 minutes almost everyone was, including me. After we had played mariokart on the Wii and I came in first like every time. Then we played manhunt but I was really tired so I didn't play much. Then my dad had picked me up and drove me home so I could get a good sleep. -
Ian's Graduation PArty
I woke up at around 10:30 and ate some pizza for breakfast. Then went outside to help set up for the party. Luckily my cousin had gotten to the party about an hour before it actually started. So we played basketball and Xbox until the guests started to show. Me and Ryan had challenged our uncles to a game of Kan Jam and absolutely destroyed them. Then I had some fireworks left over from my birthday so I had lit them up and we all watched in awe, some were better than others but still were great. -
Trip to Florida
I woke up at 8:30 because I had to eat and get ready for my flight to Florida. We got to the airport at around 10:45. As we walked through security, I was stopped and the officer had checked my bag and found a knife and I was in shock, just freaking out thinking I was going to get arrested or something but they just took it and told me to go. When we landed we had gotten lunch then went to the beach to watch the sunset, it was so beautiful. We came back and ate dinner and went to bed. -
Swimming In Florida
I woke up around 11:50 am and immediately walked to the pool and went swimming for a while. Around 2:30 we came back to the house and ordered Pizza Hut. I had around three to five slices f the pizza. Then we had the idea to go night swimming, so we walked to the pool and hot tub. The hot tub was so warm, it felt like lava but in a good way and the pool was cool so it was a good combination. Then we walked back to the house and watched a movie and went to bed, this was one of the best memories. -
Girlfriend's Sweet 16
The day of Chelsea's Sweet 16 was very nerve-racking, it had started at five in the afternoon. I had spent the morning eating showering and cleaning myself up so I could go to this without looking like a mess. I had my brother and sister helping me pick a shirt. My mom was in charge of my hair and ironing my shirt and pants. And, my day had the crucial job of picking the tie I would be wearing to the Sweet 16. I think it is safe to say that I was ready for anything that would be thrown my way.
