    People was happy of the new leader. Qing restored peace and promoted the recovery of the agricultural academy. People produces many babies causing environmental damage and poverty. The land is overused and not fertile anymore.

    Many people think that the government is weak and corrupt. People were against the leader and this causes the internal rebellions which is the beginning of white lotus rebellion.

    The Qing first does not pay much attension to the growth in opium trade. Europeans want Chinese tea and started trading opium with the chinese people. Qing government realized that the opium was harmful. They decided to ban and import of opium. This is led to 2 war with British, which British won and took control of the trade.

  • Boxer rebellion

    The Chinese people want to be free of foreign influence.
    They rebels attacked the Foreign Nationals in Beijing. They were beaten by the foreign army and China was punished. This weaken the Qing. They lost supported of people and the mandate of heaven was end.

    The Long march was undertaken by the Red Army of the Communist Party of China, the forerunner of the People's Liberation Army, to evade the pursuit of the Kuomintang (KMT or Chinese Nationalist Party) army. 100000 people began the long march but only 8-10000 finished it.

    Mao ze dong is the leader of revolution. Mao organized a group of young people called red guards to fight against the democratic society. Mao decided to re-educated intellectuals in the way of the proletariat in farming communities where they were forced to do manual labor. All western books were banned and destroyed. China was forced to carry around a book of his quotations known as the " little red book "
