During the last three months of my prenatal growth my lungs were expanding and contracting. Also my heart, veins, and arteries were going through their final maturation.

During the 28th week after conception the auditory communication to my Mother began. I was able to kick at loud noises, be comforted by music, recognize my Mothers voice and heartbeat and know if my mother was afraid.

I was born on August 25, 1988 at 8:57 am in Livonia, Michigan.

My reflexes were recorded according to the Brazelton Neonatal Assesment Scale (NBAS). The reflexes that are tested are those that maintain oxygen supply, maintain cnstant body temeperature, and manage feelings. Some of the reflexes I may have had that signify the state of my brain would be the stepping reflex, the swimming reflex and the moro reflex.

At 5 months of age I began to develop my gross motor skills by scooting on my tummy.

At 8 months I began to babble more coherently and spoke my first word. My first word was Ma-Ma.

When I was two years old I was potty trained. My mother tells me she used more of a psychoanalytic approach to accomplish this.

When I was 3 years old I refined my fine motor skills enough to write out my first name.

When I was 3 years old I attended my first Vacation Bible School (VBS). This began the nuturing of my morals and helped me to learn the values of my family and community.

When I was 5 years old I was able to read short children books that were targeted towards my age group.

When I was 8 years old I was on a soccer team called The Meteors. This contributed to my physical activity and gave me the benefits of overall health, appreciation of cooperation and fair play and respect for my team mates.

When I was 10 years old and in the 5th grade I won my elementary school spelling bee. This was one of my proudest moments. I used my visual and working memory to be able to accomplish this.

When I was 11 years old I have a very specfic memory of being bullied in 6th grade. I was pushed down by another gril at the bus stop. I can't recall what it was about but I do remember how horribly embarassing it was.

When I was 12 years old I hit puberty. I remember this vividly because it was on my 7th grade Washington D.C. trip. Talk about embarassing!

When I was 14yrs old I started my first day of high school at John Glenn High School in Westland.

When I was 16yrs old I had my first boyfriend. His name was Greg and I thought I was going to marry him. Boy, was I wrong!

When I was 18 I got my first tattoo. It's a small tattoo of three hearts in a row on the small of my back. This could be part of my need to take risks or because of social norms. In my group of friends tattoos are widely accepetd and encouraged. Getting a tattoo in my then opinion changed my appearance for the better and made me fit in while taking a risk with my body,

I started Schoolcraft Community College when I had just turned 18. I was eager to learn and although I've changed my major three or four times I feel like I finally found what I want to do with my life and I am eager to finish.

When I was 21 I moved in with my then boyfriend. We cohabitated for 2 years before becoming engaged and will be married April 13, 2013. I am very excited!

When I am 33 years old I will have my first kid. I hope that it will be a boy and I will name him Levi Matthew.

I will need to be able to use my practical intelligence when I get my big promotion at work when I am 38. I will hopefully be involved in an organization that either deals with domestic violence or homelessness. I will be promoted to director and have a lot more responsibility that will require me to use more of my practical knowledge to change rules and regulations than before.

When I turn 50 I will have a career change. I will hopefully have a doctorate in clinical social work and I will be ready to teach college courses in social work for a university.

When I am 68 I will need a knee replacement due to the wear and tear of my knees. Having been an aerobic instructor for so long and having been always involved with sports has taken a toll on my knees and now they will need to be replaced.

When I turn 90 I will be diagnosed with Alzheimers disease. It will be hard on my family but they will know what's best for me and act accordingly.

I will die at 97 years of age. I will die in my sleep and then be buried next to my husband of 70 years.
