    The First Two Years

  • I Learned Object Permanence

    Cognitive Development I don't have many memories from this point in my life, but around this time I would be learning that even when something is not visible, that doesn't mean that it has dissapeared. It just means that something else is blocking my view of it.
  • Scary Santa

    Psychosocial Development When I was younger I would always cry when my family when to visit Santa. I had stranger anxiety. This feeling didn't apply to all people, but Santa was an unfamiliar person I did not like.

    Biosocial Development I started to walk around 15 months, or the average age children are when they begin walking.

    Cognitive Development I started preschool when I was three going on four. This is a bit earlier than most children.

    Biosocial Development At this age one of my favorite things to do was color with my mom and sister. I would always envy the way my mother could color inside the lines, and I strived for that perfection.

    Psychosocial Development It was around this age that I started to learn manners. My father would tell my sister and I to, "say you're sorry and you'll never do it again". Then we had to give eachother a hug.

    Biosocial Development I got involved in dance when I was this age. I really enjoyed it.

    Cognitive Development Math has always been one of my favorite subjects. I remember filled out times tables in the early years of elementary school and up. Memorizing patterns and racing the clock on charts in order to be the first one done.

    Psychosocial Development On this day my first nephew, Trevor, was born. My family consists of my mom, dad, sister, and three half brothers that are much older than I. As a result of the age gap, I have two nephews and two nieces.
