My mother would leave my brother and myself at home sometimes if she needed to go to the store. My brother was 5 and I was 3. My brother told me that I used to scream and cry at the door for her to come back.

A man broke into our home through the milk shoot. My brother was sleeping in my room that night, because I had bunk beds. The man tried to rape my mother,but his equipment wouldn't work. My mother ran out the front door and landed on her knees and injured her back.

This is the worst day of my life I get a message on my cell phone that my mother has died at the age of 63. She died of a drug overdose, but it is still in quetion on who gave her the drugs. My heart is broken into a million pieces.
