Timeline 6

  • 6.1 Birth Order

I have a lot of characteristics of an only child. I am pretty stubborn, I like to be alone and I relate better to people much older than me than people my age.
  • 6.3 Impacted by Death

    6.3 Impacted by Death
When I was 15 my friend Lizzy committed suicide. Her death still hits home and is upsetting to think about, I consider this to be prolonged grief. I feel that I still grieve for her loss, but I don’t grieve for myself. I grieve for her mother, her brother, and the experiences that she will never get to have. I always think of what an amazing adult she would have been. I wish I could share with her the things that I am experiencing in college, I feel like she would have felt the same way,
  • 6.1 My Family

My family from the time I was born until about five years old consisted of my parents and grandparents. We then moved to Colorado and just my parents and I lived together. I have a friend that I consider a brother who was rejected by his family and we consider him a part of ours although we are not blood related.
  • 6.4 My Death

    6.4 My Death
In an ideal world I would like to die when I am ready. I would like to have a natural burial.Natural burial is when the body is put inside of a biodegradable casket without a vault or cement to seal it. I would like that without embalming because that would be toxic to the environment.I do not have an opinion on how my family would wish to conduct a funeral I will leave that up to them.

  • 6.2 Learning Disability

If I were to have a child with a learning disability I would make sure that they had the best opportunity for learning. I think homeschooling would be my course that I would take for my child. For example, if they were on the Autism spectrum, I would schedule therapy sessions (occupational, speech) during the day. I think with this course of action they would have a better access to education while still meeting their personal needs and goals.
