First Day of School
My first day of Preschool. My teacher was a family friend/babysitter and she had a great impact on my life because she was there for me when my parents were working and she was a great role model for both me and my sister. -
Second Grade
The day I started second grade, I immediately fell in love with the class. The reason for this was because it was the first year I started reading on my own without help. My teacher was the best. She made everyday fun and exciting and yet I learned and grew so much. -
September 11
I still remember the day 9/11 happened. I hadn't watched the news that morning and so everybody was completely silent all morning and I could not figure out why. Then my fourth grade teacher showed us a clip of th news and our entire class burst into tears and we all wrote letters to families who lost someone in the event. It was a tragic day. -
First day of Jr. High
I remember this day because my parents dropped me of at school and gave me a pep talk because this was a really hard time for me. I was going through the change and I wasnt very popular. ALso my grades the past few years werent too great. My mom tols me that I needed to push myself to get all A's and B's and she will buy me an iPod. My dad talked to me about when he went to Jr. High and told me that I should just be myself and everyone will love me. -
Hurricane Katrina
I remember hearing about the hurrican in Louisiana and my friend Mackenzie who used to live there was in tears all day because all of her childhood friends still lived there. Luckily they were all okay, but it was a depressing day. My history teacher had us put care packages together for the families who lost their homes and were living in shelters. -
First Day of High School
I was insanely nervous to start high school but I met one of my best friends Nikki that day and immediately became comfortable and had a blast during my High School experience. My favorite teacher was my History teacher because I learned so much from him and I do not particularly enjoy the subject. He was by far the funniest teacher I ever had and every class was entertaining. -
2008 Election
This was a huge deal for me during my Junior year of High School. My es-girlfriend was going through a rough time. I won't say why but when Obama won, lets just say her and her family weren't too happy. -
High School Graduation
This was the happiest day of my life. Not only because I was done with high school, but also because I got accepted into ASU. My parents were so proud. My mom went to ASU, but my dad was especially proud because he only went to community college.
