  • I was born

    This is important because, this is when my life started.

  • My brother was born

    This is important because i finally had someone to play with and love.

  • Moved from India to the U.S.

    This is important becuase my life had completely changed, i left my frids behing, my school and my mom's side of the faimly.
    I interviewed my brother becuse i wanted to what he remembers from it. It was our first time riding in a plae and we thought it was so scary when the plane took off. My brother said that he remembers "when you went to the bathroom in the plane and you didn't know how to open the door so you started screaming and crying in there. And i was just laughing at you".

  • Starting schools for the first time in the U.S.

    This is important because i got to see how schools in America are and also got a chance to meet other kids in this country and i was excited because i wanted to know how to speak english like everyone else. Also, school was the place that taught me how to speak english.

  • I made a best friend for the first time in elementry school.

    This is important becuse i finally had someone to talk to at school and to play with. When i didn't have anybody to hang out with at school i felt like loner and wasn't that happy about going to school but i finally had a friend i was much happier.

  • I went to the sixth grade camp.

    This important because there we played a lot of games like soccer and i thought it was so much fun so, from that day on soccer became my favorite sport and hobbie.

  • Moved from living with my to living our own.

    This is important because that is when we started handeling a lot of responsibilities like getting a job and paying the house bills. We were all new to living in a house in America. Also its important because looking back in life when started living on our own we didn't know how to do anything but now we know everything.

  • I got my drivers permit.

    This is important becuase, when i got my permit i drove for the first time ever. I felt like that i was becoming more independant like it was responsibilty to drive myself and to give rides to my faimly members when asked.
