The Day I was Born
I was born at St. John Hospital on april 25, 1996. I see an advantage because i was born in April and i play hockey. I feel like im better than most kids who were born later in the year. I agree with Gladwell when he said this in his book. I have had more time to practice than the others so i feel i have a slight advantage over them. -
Started playing hockey
When i started playing this sport i didnt really like it but as i got better i started to like it more and more. The more time i spent on the ice the better i got and the more comfortable i felt out there. I definantly agree with gladwelll when he says that 10,000 hours of practice will make you the best at what your practice. -
Moved to Grosse Pointe
I lived in St. Clair Shores growing up. When i was 5 we moved to grosse pointe. I think this really helped me becasuse i got the opportunity to attend better schools and be surrounded by better people. Gladwell is right when he says that your surroundings take part in your success. -
Hockey Camp
Hockey camp has provided me with more hours of prctice on the ice. Therefore, i agree with gladwell when he says it takes 10,000 hours of practice to be very good at something. The more you practice the better you get. This was a great opportuniy for me and has a lot to do with my success at the game. -
Went to Grosse Pointe South High School
This is a great school. Its in the top 2% or schools in Michigan. I believe that this with make me more intelligent than others. Gladwell said where you grow up and the school you go to have a major role in your success. I think that Grosse Pointe South high school with deffinantly play a role in my inteligence.
