Time Line

  • Today I Was Born!

  • Immunizations Recieved

    From birth, 2 months, 4 months, 6 months, 12 months and 18 months and on, my mother kept up with getting me my proper immuniztionsto ensure the healthiest lifestyle she could provide for me. This is a Biosocial development, because it is part of my personal and public health.
  • First Word- 6 months old

    I spoke my first word at 6 months old. Momma was my first word. This is Cognitive development, because I was developing my language and learning how to communicate.
  • Begin Crawling

    At seven months, I learned how to crawl. This is Biosocial because I started developing my gross motor skills and learning how to use them
  • First Sentence Spoken

    Spoke my first 'full' sentence. This was part of my information processing through Cognitive development.
  • Begin to walk!

    Another Biosocial development, by growing more not only in size, but mentally and physically. My gross motor skills were strengthening, and at a above average to normal rate!
  • Became My Mom's Sidekick

    As a Psychosocial development, I became extremely close to my mother emotionally. I developed a social bond with my mother which helped aid me into becoming who I am.
  • I insist on choosing my own outfits to wear!

    At age five I begin to start showing my independance by wanting to choose my own outfits to wear to school. My mom freaks out because the outfits I was picking were completely unmatching and looked ridiculous. She asked my kindergarden teacher what she should do. The teacher told her that she should let me wear what I want within reason, and if the other children said things to me, then maybe I would stop wearing unmatching clothes. Instead I stood up for myself. This is psychsocial development.
  • Learned to riide my 2-wheeled bike!

    To teach me how to ride my bike wthout the training wheels, my parents took me to the park. They figure its open and safer to teach me there. So I start riding and I'm smooth sailing, until I head straight towards the only object within sight, a trashcan!! This biosocial development helped me learn about physical injuries to myself.
  • Begin First Years of School

    At age 4 I began my first year in preschool. At age 5, I started kindergarden. Then at age 6, I begin my first year of elementary school. This early childhood education was part of my cognitive development.
  • Have a rough time in school

    At age 8, I begin having a very difficult time in school with math and its concepts. This was part of my cognitive development with my education, although this became a set back for me, I managed to work with my difficulties.
  • Diagnosed with ADHD

    I seem to be having major difficulties in school, so my mom insists on having me 'checked out' by a doctor and a psychologist. I was tested, then later diagnosed with ADHD, and placed on medications. This was a part of my biosocial development, not only was it part of my brain development, but it aided in my special needs as a child with different needs.
  • Made A Good Group of Friends

    I found my new group of friends that I became very close to, and hang out with all the time. They became very influential to who I became as a young adult. This was the psychosocial development because my peers became very important to me for help, loyalty, and sharing of our mutual interests.
  • Get My First Period

    At age 11, I started my first period and all of the great excitement that comes along with it. This was part of my biosocial development, because I began puberty and my hormones kicked in.
  • Stayed with the same boyfriend

    From ages 15-18 I had the same boyfriend throughout high school. We were both very smart about our choices together, so that we did not end up ruining our futures. We both avoided getting in with the 'wrong' crowd. This was the psychosocial development during my adolescence, because I was finding my personal identity and building relatioships in a safe, smart way.
  • Graduated High School

    I accomplished getting through high school when I was expected to. And have plans to continue in my education by putting myself through college. This was part of my cognitive development, because I promoted my individual success for my future.
  • Parents get divorced

    At age 18, my parents got divorced. At this point I became much closer to my mother than never before. This was part of my psychosocial development, I started making different family connections.
  • Started my first year of college

    At age 18, I start my first year of college and decide that I want to become a nurse. This was part of my cognitive development, with my continuing education.
  • Grandmother was Murdered

    At age 25, my graandmother was brutily murdered. A few months later, October 14th, my fiance Paul committed suicide in our home wth a shot gun. This caused me to spiral into major depression, anxiety, and PTSD mode. This was parat of my biosocial development through my health and growth.
  • Began gaining weight from medications

    At age 25/26, I started gaining weight from the antidepressants I had been prescribed. This then caused me to feel more depressed and terribly unhappy with what was happening to myself. This was biosocial development, because my body and my mind were 'changing shape.'
  • Start to realize who I really am

    At age 27, I start to realize who I really am, and what I want to become. So I start working towards achieving my goals and becoming a happier and wiser individual. This was part of my cognitive development, because I start to reflect on my past, and head towards a brighter future.
  • Become more aware of others

    At age 27, I become more aware of who others are and what they are capable of doing, in both good and bad ways. I start realizing I can be a better person without certain people in my life, that just want to bring me down. This was part of my psychsocial development, because I begin to learn and change my lifestyle to better myself as a person.
  • Started getting healthy

    At age 28, I decide enough is enough, and begin to workout and take better care of myself. This was another biosocial development in my adulthood.
  • I Pass Away At Age 95

    I Pass Away At Age 95
    According to the Lifespan Calculation it says I will live to the old age of 95 years old! Which just so happens to be the same age my great grandmother passed away at.
