    Attended church, with "Mimi" too.
    Accomplished first communion eventually.
    Latin Catholic church. Would practice reading bible during church. Would get bored and just twiddle my thumbs.
  • Grandma

    Spent a lot of time with my MiMi.
    Very religous.
    Into health foods and natural medicines. Wild Oats.
    Taught me how to play the piano a little.
    Had a long haired siamese cat.
    Would help her pick up sticks in her front yard.
    She would babysit me and I would play alone a lot using my imagination.
    Remember stuffed animals.

    Began ballet.

    Mom would pick me up from school and take me twice a week.
    Tyrone from Alvin Ailey.
    Would never wear a froo froo tutu.
    Exceeded everyone.
    Eventually began jazz lessons at 6 years old too.
    Loved watching ballets with mom.
    Quit at 10 yeard old, felt shy,
    Would always watch Anjelina Ballerina.

    Two story house, 5 bed, 2 1/2 bath, sunroom, front and two side yards, jungle gym, tree house, trampoline, driveway, bike, roller blades, basketball goal, soccer ball, scooter, go cart.
    Hung out at playgroud of Hale Cook, walked to gas station.
    Went to Fairway pool with neighborhood friend.
    Hung out at other neighbor's house.
    Garage sales.
    Played in the street.
    Pet cats.
    Outside a lot.
    Went to Waldo Pets.

    Mom was very involved in the Parent Teacher Association.
    Mom substituted at Swinney even.
    Would see her at recess.
  • Divorce

    Parents got separated which led to a nasty divorce.
  • Vacations and family

    Vacations and family
    Would visit St, Louis every summer and breaka and even just weekends. Spent time with dad's side grandparents and uncles.

    Grandparents rich. Lived in nice neighborhood. We would walk to the pond. Feed horses in stable attatched to their back yard.
    Help grandma clean.
    Play with Fisher Price Little People. Went on direct family vacations to Silver Dollar City.
    Uncles had dogs and grandpa had dogs.

    I loved Laura Ingalls Wilder books.
    Little House on the Praire & Little House in the Big Woods.
    Enjoyed Harry Potter.
    Enjoyed Anjelina Ballerina, Madeline, Junie B. Jones, Pippi Long Stocking, Curious George.
    Goosebumps.

    Entered the school year in a Gifted and Talented classroom.

    Fifth grade also.
    In sixth grade took GEMS class.
    Straight to college prep school.
  • Responsibility

    Between divorce and three older siblings, did not get a lot of attention. Lived more with dad.
    Kept myself busy.
    Responsible for my own school work.
    He would always cook dinner and clean.
    Had own room that I decorated and had to keep clean.
    He got me a dog Spike that I took care of with him.

    Interested in Pokemon.
    Watching Sailormoon.
    Watched Madeline, PBS shows, Nickelodeon, Little House on the Prairie, Pippi Long Stocking.

    Met best friends in middle school.
    Grew into ourselves together.
    All were pretty much middle class too and had freedom.
    Mixture of white, black, mexican, mixed.
  • Veterinarian

    "you always had a love for animals, and were caring. I thought you would end up becoming a vet, but am not surprised you are becoming a teacher" -mom. I had wanted to be a vet for a few years now. Since I was in middle school at a prep school, I was obviously already thinking about college and a career and thought that was what I wanted.

    Listened to the music I wanted... alternative, rock.
    Went to Warped Tour.
    Died hair colors.
    Wore makeup.
    Wore what I wanted..didn't dress very girly. A little edgy. Converse, jeans, tees.

    Got a job 2 weeks after turning 16.
    Got car that dad had taught me to drive in during permit. Got license on birthday.
    Had to pay for own gas.
    Payed for anything I wanted, even clothes most of the time.
    Did not have problems, but did have to take care of self most of the way.
  • On my own

    Moved out of dad's house at 18 after graduation.
    Never goin' back!
    Have better relationship with father now.
    He still helps a little (car insurance, help with some car maintanence, and cell phone bill).
    Work really hard for everything else, plus in college.
